Leabrook Estate Merlot
The 2006 vintage was very kind for red wines in the Adelaide Hills giving full ripeness and flavour. This enabled Adelaide Hills Merlot to show its true potential and this wine shows sweet berry characters on the nose and a richness and amazing smoothness at a very young age.
This is the first Merlot produced by Leabrook Estate and is expected to mature for the medium to long term. At its first showing immediately after bottling, this wine received a Silver Medal award.
