make Chile a paradise for growing healthy grapes. The Central Valley is a vast region, containing patches of land where the finest grapes are grown. Our winemakers have combed this valley to find grapes which could be
transformed into fruit-driven wines at the best possible price.
Vina Edmara’s wines combine intense varietal characteristics, a cleanliness of delivery and an intensity of finish that are the hallmarks of any good Chilean wine. In that, they are superb representations of what this amazing country is capable of.
Vinification: The grapes were hand picked, destemmed, crushed, quickly chilled to 10°C (50°F), and pressed to separate the must into different lots for use in different
styles of wine. The must was statically decanted for 36–48 hours and then fermented at 13°–15°C (55°–59°F). Upon completion of the fermentation, the wine was separated from its lees and sulfates were added to hold it for blending.
Tasting Note: Aromas and flavours of citrus fruits such as grapefruit and lemon peel that lend a fresh balance to the tropical fruit character. Vibrant, fresh, smooth, and well rounded on the palate.
Every day serving suggestion: Excellent as an aperitif or with seafood.
In my opinion it is one of the best value Chilean sauvignon on the market.
