TIERRA ANTICA CHARDONNAY
These attractively packaged wines are blended especially for us and show the kind of style that has put Chilean wines on the map over the past few years.
This winery is now at the forefront of modern winemaking in Chile, placing great emphasis on using non-invasive winery techniques so that the purest possible fruit can be expressed.
Wine maker, Constanza Schwarderer, concentrates on working in the vineyard in order to optimise the quality of the grapes produced. This is evident in these fruit-driven wines which show intense varietal character.
TIERRA ANTICA CHARDONNAY
Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Viticulture: The temperate Mediterranean climate, with warm days and cool nights, ensures the grapes obtain optimum maturity. Grapes were hand picked and carefully selected.
Vinification: The fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for 15 days, to maximize the fresh fruity flavours of this succulent wine.
Taste: A careful selection of the best grapes grown in our vineyards in the Curico Valley. This Chardonnay is bright , focussed, aromatic and impressive for its range of flavours, touching on banana, melon and white peach and revealing a graceful note of red apple on the long finish.
Serve: Recommended with fish, seafood and white meats.
