Aloxe Corton 1er cru Remoissenet Pere et Fils
Winery information: Remoissenet has the largest cellars of aged Burgundy in the world and until 2005 was in the careful hands of Roland Remoissenet. Now under new ownership and the dynamic management of Bernard Repolt and winemaker Claudie Jobard, this famous house is being revitalised exploiting the wonderful aged stocks and introducing their elegantly styled, estate wines.
Vinification: Aged in oak for 16 months and bottled in February 2000.
Tasting Note: Silky textured Burgundy with hints of truffles and leather, fine tannins and a long, consistent finish. Mature and drinking beautifully now.
Every day serving suggestion: At 16ºC with roast meat, game and most cheeses.
