Cuvee Henri Fabre Rose
Winery information: The Château de l’Aumérade is a 400 year old French vineyard located in the sheltered plain of Pierrefeu, in the heart of Provençe and encompasses 550 hectares of vines under the watchful ownership of Henri Fabre. Its red, mineral rich soils elevate the quality from other areas of the Provence appellation. In 1950 the estate was awarded its first distinction and was designated as ‘Cru Classé’. The estate celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2006.
Vinification: Harvesting at the beginning of September. Gentle immediate pressing, selection of the different qualities juices, cooling to 13 degres. Static settling and 10 days of regulated alcoholic fermentation between 17 and 22c to preserve the maximum of aromas and the quality of each grape variety. Racking and blending at the end of the year, tartaric stabilisation and filtration.
Tasting Note: Pale salmon colour, refreshingly fruity bouquet with delicate white spice and mineral flavours on the palate, through to an elegant finish.
