Chateau de Campuget White Invitation
Winery information: Costieres de Nimes, the easternmost appellation of the Languedoc, is effectively part of the Rhone since the climate, soil and topography are so similar to those just over the river in the southern Cotes-du-Rhone vineyards.
The relatively uniform soils are marked by large pebbles on gentle, typically south-facing slopes. Chateau de Campuget is a top quality estate near Nimes with a long history. In its cellar, tradition and progress unite to provide aroma, finesse and bouquet. Chateau de Campuget deploys a wide range of traditional Rhone cepage to produce full, easy and spicy wines.
Vinification: Gently pressed and cool fermented, then kept on fine lees in tank until bottling.
Tasting Note: Traditional Rhone grape varieties make this a spicy, full and fruity wine with mineral tones.
Every day serving suggestion: Served at 14°C, it is perfect for summertime meals, with fresh salads or around a barbecue. Its is particularly recommended with grilled red peppers pickled with the olive oil from Campuget.
