For more than 200 years the Schmitt family has been involved in the art of winemaking in the Mosel, passing on its knowledge and experience from generation to generation. Grape Varieties: Riesling and Muller-Thurgau
Notes: Piesporter Michelsberg is a very well known wine. The vines are grown on slate soil that is typical of the Mosel area. The fruity acidity, rather than alcohol, is the backbone of this wine and enhances its longevity.
Serve: Chilled at 10oC to 12o C. Ideal with fish, white meats, poultry or cheese.
