| Kevin's comments: A sumptuous bouquet of black fruits, coffee, vanilla, chocolate and liquorice. Full-bodied, juicy and powerful, with masses of coffee and spice and a long, intense aftertaste. Superb. |
QUORUM BARBERA D?ASTI DOC
Hastae is the Roman name for the ancient city of Asti universally known as the city of wne. Hastae is the name of the ?consortium?, where six families with a very old tradition joined together to promote the Barbera d?Asti image. These families are Berta, Braida, Chiarlo, Coppo, Prunotto and Vietti. QUORUM is the symbol of their joint efforts and a way to carry out the initiatives promoted within their project. Quorum is a wine and a grappa. The wine is Barbera d?Asti, the result of merging the best Barbera grapes produced by each one of these families in their own vineyards.
Quorum Barbera d?Asti is a creative red wine. Its characteristics are longevity, versatility and excellent structure. Tests show it to be well-balanced and noble in the glass. But Barbera d?Asti may be more, it may become a great red wine with international prestige, the symbol of the entire Piemonte region and this is what Hastae is trying to achieve.
