Boer and Brit The Field Marshall
Winery information: Boer & Brit is the combination of winemakers Stefan Gerber, a great, great grandson of President Paul Kruger and Alexander Milner a great, great
grandson of Field Marshall John French. These two have, more than a hundred years after the bitter rivalry of their forefathers, created Boer & Brit, a range of dynamic and exciting wines that have gone down a storm both in South Africa and abroad.
Vinification: Stainless steel tank
Blend: Tinta Amarela, Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Carignan
Tasting Note: The Field Marshall 2009 – pomegranate, cloves, pepper, ripe plums,
masses of piquant spice and a lean savoury finish.
