A 17 ha family owned domain since 4 generation and benefiting of some of the best hill-side of the Appellation d?Origine Montagny.
Montagny 1er cru ?Les Platières? Domaine Berthenet
Grapes: Chardonnay
Vinification: Traditional vinification in stainless steel vats to keep as much freshness as possible to the wine. 20% is then aged in oak barrels.
Taste: A pale yellow colour with green tints. Round and smooth with discreet oak, well balanced between freshness and softness with good length and sustained mineral flavours.
Serve: As an aperitif or with fish, poultry, creamy dishes and goat cheeses.
