Cuvee Prestige Blanc Badet Clement
Winery information: For more than 100 years the Delaunay family has produced and also acted as “négociant éleveurs"" in Burgundy. Catherine and Laurent Delaunay are the fourth generation of the family involved in wine and decided to bring their experience and expertise as winemakers in Burgundy to this exciting area of the Languedoc region of southern France. Here they have created wines that express flair and individuality of the region.
Viticulture: Gobelet training methods.
Vinification: This wine was vinified in the Languedoc by Catherine and Laurent Delaunay. Each grape variety was vinified separately. The grapes were hand or machine picked and de-stemmed in order to avoid a vegetal taste. Alcoholic fermentation took place at low temperatures iand particular attention was paid to prevent the wine from oxidation. The wine was aged on its lees to keep the natural freshness and was blended and left to rest in tank for a few months prior to being bottled.
Tasting Note: Made from a blend of Ugni Blanc, Grenache Blanc with a touch of Sauvignon. This is a crisp, dry wine with lemony fruit and a clean, zesty finish.
Every day serving suggestion: Chilled as an aperitif or to accompany salads, fish, seafood and white meats in a creamy sauce.
