"ANTINA" CABERNET SAUVIGNON & TEMPRANILLO

In view of escalating Rioja prices, our Rioja supplier Ondarre has sourced a competitively priced red wine from Castilla, near La Mancha in central Spain.
Antina is the result of intense tasting sessions and countless experiment of blending different
grape varieties. From the outset, the aim was to produce a wine with an international style, able to satisfy the tastes of wine lovers all over the world.
Grapes: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon & 45% Tempranillo.
Winemaking: The different grape varieties were vinified separately in order to preserve
the maximum character of each varietal. The Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in oak casks for 3 months in order to add depth and complexity to wine whilst the Tempranillo was stored in steel vats, prior to blending, in order to preserve the fresh fruit aromas
Colour: Bright cherry-red with medium depth of colour and ruby hues around the rim.
Aroma: Spice and ripe blackberry fruit with toasted wood in the background.
Palate: A well-balanced, full and smooth wine with a lingering and fruity finish..
