Chateau Tasting Notes
KREUZNACHER KRONENBERG RIESLING KABINET NAHE The Kreuznacher Kronenberg originates from the Nahe, situated between the Mosel and the Rhine. The wines from the Nahe vary considerably due to the different soil types. Rieslings from steep slopes where the soil is slaty are amongst Germany's top wines. The even climate, warm summers and mild winters, is typical for this region. Grapes: Riesling Soil: Slate.
Serve: Chilled at 11 to 14C to accompany poultry, ham pork or fish dishes.
Also ideal as a light aperitif.
Taste: The wine is packaged in a special blue bottle an old, traditional, Nahe colour.
The wine itself is fruity, fresh and elegant with a bouquet reminiscent of summer flowers. A wine to be enjoyed within 2 years of vintage.
