The Berton Vineyard located in the Eden Valley in South Australia, was established by Cherie and Bob Berton in 1996. Since then, the company has expanded and the team now comprises of 5 key partners, all of whom contribute their particular areas of expertise. In 2006 the company has grown further through the acquisition of a modern winery complex in Yenda, NSW.
Founstone is the foundation on which our portfolio rests. Sourced from vineyards throughout the south eastern Australia, these wines are consistently full of flavour and made so that they are ready to drink now.
FOUNDSTONE SHIRAZ ROSE
Grapes: 96% Shiraz, 3% Barbera and 1% other.
Region: Riverina
Tasting Notes: This Shiraz Rose is full of flavour and offers aromas of pomegranate, lifted red fruit and toffee apple. The generous fruit palate lingers with crushed strawberries and kirsch notes witch are beautifully balanced by the crisp acid finish. Alcohol 13.5%
Serve: Enjoy with antipasto, BBQ marinated prawns or simply as an aperitif or simply anytime! This wine has been made to drink now but will cellar for 3 years.
