Carpene Malvolti Rose Brut
Ever since 1868, the year in which renowned enologist Antonio Carpene founded the Company, the name Carpene Malvolti has represented the story of sparkling wine making in Italy. Carpene Malvolti has been the first winery in Italy to perfect the use of the Charmat Method for the production of high-quality sparkling wines. For four generations, the Carpene family has worked together with carefully selected vine growers to produce the very best from the hillsides of the Veneto – and of Conegliano in particular in order to guarantee absolutely top quality throughout the Carpene Malvolti product range.
Pinot Nero: Soft pressing in order to obtain just the free-run juice. Fermentation takes place with the aid of very carefully selected yeasts. After this has been completed, and following a number of rackings, the wine is stored on its lees. Raboso: The grapes are picked in the Gellisaia vineyard and are then dried on racks. The must ferments on the skins and after fermentation, the wine goes into oak casks for a brief period of time . The cuvees are then blended and transformed into sparkling wine following the Charmat method
Deep pink with hints of crimson, the wine has a perfumed floral bouquet, with elegant yet intense notes of wild berries and morello cherries. It is full, tangy with rounded fruit on the palate.
