Now more than 100 years old Barros Port is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious companies producing and trading in Port. Much of Barros's success comes from Colheita ports - Old Tawnies from a single year matured in cask from minimum period of seven years.

Their expertise in Colheitas has established them as the standout producer of this style. Barron leave their  Colheita port to mature in cask until bottling for release onto the market, which results in a much higher loss of wine to evaporation compared to bottle ageing, but it's a small price to pay for these intense, outstanding wines
