Domaine Albert Morot

A selection of wines from Domaine Albert Morot. In 1820 Albert Morot set up his negociant business in Beaune. Between 1984 and 1999 the estate was managed by Francoise Choppin, who discontinued the negociant activity in order to concentrate on its vineyards and winemaking.

At Domain Albert Morot they work the soils organically and produce low yields, generally 35-40 hL/ha. These wines, exclusively 1er Crus, are divided into eight appellations, each of them consistently producing elegant, top quality Burgundian wines which are highly rated around the world. The winery is in the process of organic conversion and winemaker Geoffry Choppin de Janvry takes a minimum intervention approach to making these fine wines.
