Loupart wines

Wines from Loupart start with their Sauvignon Blanc VDP de Loire. Loupart is the brainchild of Joost de Villebois, a Dutch financier with French roots. The wine is made by the very talented Thierry Merlet who has worked in Australia and Oregon, as well as his native Loire valley. The wine is made from vineyards aged between 13 and 65 years old, primarily located in the Touraine region of France. Thierry brings a New World approach to winemaking that shows in this excellent wine, giving Sancerre more than a run for it's money. We think this is one of the best value for money French wines that we have on offer at Wineman and highly recommend it to you.
