Amata Prosecco Extra Dry NV

The Amata Prosecco extra Dry is a great value Italaian prosecco. Elegant and stylish, with delicate aromas of green apple, succulent pear and lifted citrus notes. Balanced, with fine bubbles and an attractively crisp finish.

Producer Note - Amata means "beloved" in Italian and reflects the passion that goes into the creation of this elegant Prosecco. Exuding the Italian flair for style, with its sophisticated presentation, this wine is a true expression of its origins and the vibrant land from which it has been lovingly crafted. Set to make an indelible impression on the hearts of wine lovers, this is the perfect party fizz.

Vineyard - The Glera grapes are grown in the Province of Treviso in the Veneto region. This unique territory, with its high hills and steep slopes, is so special that it has recently been nominated for entering the World Heritage List. The bond between this territory and product is strong, the winegrowers of this DOC area are the soul of Prosecco and an integral part of the wine's identity.

Winemaking - The grapes were destemmed and then gently pressed. The must was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of no more than 18 to 20°C to preserve the aromatics. The fermentation was interrupted when the residual sugar reached between 2 to 3 grams per litre and was left to rest at chilled temperatures. It was then refermented in pressurised tanks at a maximum pressure of 2.4 atmospheres to obtain the characteristically gentle bubbles.

Tasting Note - Classic and stylish Prosecco, with delicate aromas of green apple, succulent pear and lifted citrus notes. Balanced, with fine bubbles and an attractively crisp finish.

Serving Suggestion - An ideal apéritif, it pairs perfectly with pre-dinner nibbles.
