Barros Vintage Port 1995
Barros Vintage Port 1995 is one of the finest Vintage Port's available from this Port house. The majority of the success of Barros Port comes from it's production of Colheita Port, single vintage Tawnies which are matured in cask and only bottled to order. Their vintage ports are also of wonderfull quality and should not be dismissed. The 1995 Vintage Port from Barros is vibrant ruby in colour with hints of brick. Conspicuous aromas of rich and sweet fruit on the nose with suggestions of plum and strawberry. Complex and involving on the palate with a sophisticated finish.

This wine was made from a careful selection of grapes and an extended maceration in order to obtain the necessary richness, body and fruitiness needed for a Vintage port. Fermentation was arrested by adding grape alcohol in order to produce a naturally sweet wine.
