Domaine Courbis Saint Joseph Blanc 2016
Domaine Courbis dates from the 16th century and has been handed down from father to son since the start of the 20th century. The vineyards currently extend to 20 hectares (3Ha in Cornas, 4Ha Saint Joseph white and 13Ha Saint Joseph red) in the communes of Chateaubourg and Cornas. 18 hectares are planted on hillsides facing south and west. The wine cellar, built in 1980, is modern and is equipped temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wines of Domaine Courbis are of extremely high quality and consistently meet with worldwide acclaim.
Vinification
Manual grape harvest, immediate pressing, de stemming and low temperature fermentation (16-17C) in stainless steel vats. Fermentation, in new casks, of 30 % of the harvest.

Tasting Note
Domaine Courbis Saint Joseph Blanc is an excellent example of white St Joseph from the Northern Rhone. Floral notes on the nose followed by excellent weight and density on the palate and refreshing finesse on the finish.
