Louis St Croix Sparkling Saumer
The town of Saumur lies 40KM east of Angers on the southern bank of the river Loire and gives its name to an extensive wine district and several appellations.
In temperature controlled tanks. The wine is then bottled and second fermentation takes place in bottle following the Champagne method known as 'Methode Traditionelle' .
5,000 vines per hectare, Guyot simple trellis, traditional viticulture.
A dry, full flavoured sparkling wine with a long finish, made by the traditional (Champagne) method.

Serve as an aperitif, with fish in sauce, white meats, cold meats and puddings.
