Solazzo Bianco d'Italia 2018 6 bottle case
Non-nonsense, typical, easy drinking, wonderful value for money. Using a great blend of indigenous and classic varietals, Sollazzo is a range of excellent value-for-money wines which are produced for us in a state-of-the-art winery a couple of miles from the great old castled town in Umbria. Blended by Steve Daniel, these wines are superb examples of modern winemaking at its very best. Highly recommended!
Vineyard
Guyot training is used on the vines with an average age of eight years.
Winemaking
The grapes were softly crushed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at 16 to 17°C for a period of 14 days. The wine was then left to rest in tank until bottled.
Tasting Note
A soft, fruity, dry white wine with a hint of spiciness from the Grechetto grape and an aroma of dried fruit and almonds.
Serving Suggestion
Serve chilled as a refreshing apéritif, also accompanies summer salads, grilled white fish and seafood.
