Marchesi dell'Ammiraglia Frescobaldi Vermentino Maremma 2017

The Vermentino Maremma from Tenuta dell'Ammiriglia is planted in rich chalk-sandstone galestro soils which produce a wonderfully complex, balanced wine. The delightful flavours of honey and tropical fruit combine with a soft almond aftertaste to produce a very interesting wine which is better served with food as opposed to being drunk on it's own. The perfect matches are white fish, calamari and pesto based dishes.

Winery Information:
A Florentine family with thirty generations dedicated to the production of great Tuscan wines in five estates in Tuscany. A Frescobaldi style that brings together tradition and innovation. With the goal of being the most prestigious Tuscan wine producer, Frescobaldi firmly believes in respecting the local land, focusing on the highest quality for its grapes, and investing in communications. The Frescobaldis own over 1,000 ha of vineyards, all located in excellent areas for
the production of fine wines. Directly manager by its family members, Frescobaldi produces almost 7 million bottles and the wines are exported to over 65 countries throughout the world. The Frescobaldi name goes back 700 years and is deeply connected with the history of art, culture, trade, finance and wine in Italy.
