Croatia wines

A selection of wines from Croatia.

We are sure that Croatia is set to become one of Europe's most fashionable winemaking areas. There have been cultivating vines for centuries, but it is only in the past decade that wine production has passed from state-owned wineries to a new generation of winemakers who are now making wines of the highest quality. This new breed of enthusiastic winemakers are passionate about Croatia and aims to express the wonderful terroir in the best way they can, and that's through making unique, world beating wines from indigenous varieties such as Teran.

Istria which is located across Croatia's, Slovenia and Italy, is fast becoming a gourmet destination in the Mediterranean. It is blessed with an ideal location for seafood and perfect conditions for an abundance of fresh produce, and local specialities including truffles, hands, olives and asparagus, all of which pair wonderfully with the local wines.

We select wines from the Kozlovic family who have been making wine since 1904 and who have carved out a niche with the speciality grape of Malvasia.
