Marche White Wines

White wines from the Marche region of Italy

The white wines produced in the marche region of italy come from three main graope varieties, Verdicchio, Trebbiano and Pecorino. There are some wines made from lesser known grapes such as Bianchello and Malvasia Toscana but these tend to only be sold in the region and are rarely exported. The wines are characterised by the green hue colour and refreshing acidity and they are excellent matches to fish dishes, particularly the local fish stew from this region
