Piemonte Red Wines from Italy

This region is responsible for some of the most famous Italian red wines including Barolo, Gavi and Barbera. The main red grape grown in Nebbiolo but Barbera follows close behind in terms of popularity. there are also some delightful low tannin wines made from Dolcetto which is considered the Italian version of Beaujolais.

Although generally considered a red wine making region Piedmonte also produces world class white wines from Cortese, Roero and Arneis grapes. However we feel the true heart of this region lies in it's reds.
